AboveNet Appoints Trevor Price as Vice President of Finance

LONDON, September 11th, 2008 – AboveNet Communications UK Ltd., a leading provider of fibre optic connectivity solutions for business and carriers and a subsidiary of AboveNet Inc., today announced the appointment of Trevor Price as vice president of finance. With more than 15 years experience in the technology & telecom sectors, Trevor joins AboveNet to manage all UK finance related functions and will be responsible for its commercial strategy moving forward.

Prior to joining AboveNet, Trevor held the position of finance director at Eposs Limited, a technology provider for mobile top-up and other payment processing services, for three years. In this position, Trevor’s key responsibilities included launching a B2C online mobile top-up service and supporting the European expansion of the business. With additional career achievements including establishing a European services business at the ERP solution provider, SSA-Acclaim, and supporting the acquisition and integration of Loot by the online business directory service, Scoot, Trevor’s expertise and knowledge in commercial and financial management are undisputed.

Trevor has also held senior financial positions at Thales Telematics and Virgin Mobile.

With this new appointment, Trevor will take over responsibility for AboveNet’s financial strategy and control, reporting activities and planning. He will also provide financial leadership to enhance AboveNet’s operational effectiveness and assist in winning business opportunities by providing further financial visibility to AboveNet’s customers and prospects.

Trevor is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales having qualified with Arthur Andersen. Trevor graduated from Exeter University with an Honours degree in History.
