NYC/NJ Data Center Seamless Connections Offered

NEW YORK, February 22, 2006 – AboveNet, Inc, a premier metro network access provider of custom fiber connectivity solutions, today announced the launch of dcXchange, a data center to data center service delivering high performance connections over a dedicated DWDM core network between prime locations in the NYC/NJ Metro. dcXchange is a pre-provisioned service delivering DWDM, SONET and Gig E connections for Enterprise, Carrier and Indirect Sales customers. Supported by AboveNet’s Global Network Management Center, dcXchange offer simplicity and unsurpassed flexibility to support a broad range of applications from media and expanding wireless to financial interconnection needs.

dcXchange will be generally available in New York City on March 1, 2006 with follow on cities to be announced shortly.
