AboveNet Announces New Lite Suite Product Line NEW YORK, August 24, 2005 – AboveNet, a premier metro network access provider of custom fiber connectivity solutions for business, today announced a new suite of metro and nationwide Internet and Ethernet services. The AboveNet Lite product suite gives businesses a broad range of fiber connectivity network options to increase productivity and lower costs by using AboveNet’s flexible and scaleable architecture with solid Service Level Agreements. AboveNet’s Metro IP Lite is a flexible Internet Access service connecting the customer’s premises to the Internet over dedicated fiber at 20 Mbps or 50 Mbps with burst capability to 100 Mbps. AboveNet’s eWAN Lite is a Nationwide Ethernet service over a robust MPLS backbone connecting customer locations with dedicated metro fiber for reliable, dependable service. eWAN Lite is offered at 20 Mbps with burst capability to 100 Mbps and Internet Access is available to be bundled with the service for maximum flexibility. AboveNet’s Metro Ethernet Lite is a point–to–point service over exclusively dedicated fiber connecting two customer locations within a metro area while providing the ultimate in private networking solutions. Metro Ethernet Lite is available at 100 Mbps.
